After installing software or an update to your software, you get a small dialog box which says “Your trial use of the software has expired.” The program then closes; you cannot open the software.
This error message can occur for several reasons. Often, reinstalling the software will solve the problem. Be sure to download the latest release of your product by logging into your customer account or by requesting a download link from us.
If the error message persists, just contact tech support and we will troubleshoot the problem for you.
- This problem may occur if you are trying to access files that are located on a remote server. Try moving the files to your computer.
- This problem may occur if you are logged in as Administrator. In such case, we recommend that you create a normal user account and install/activate the software as the user.
- For Windows, it may mean that your software has a missing, incomplete or corrupted entry in the software registry. Typically, reinstalling will fix this. Contact us for assistance if necessary.
